A showcase of Hardwood Orangeries, Conservatories, Windows and Doors

We have put together some examples of hardwood conservatories, orangeries, windows and doors that have been created by Atrium and are now a daily part of people's lives. It is difficult to accurately categorise a building, but we have tried to group similar projects together to save you trawling through more than 100 examples of our work! Orangeries

Orangeries

An orangery is structurally more substantial than a conservatory with a solid flat roof and glazed lantern which is normally central within the roof space. It is a stylish building often with "period" or traditional features and creates an imposing and impressive extra room.

Garden Rooms

Garden Rooms

This is effectively a conservatory but a little more "built in". It would normally have brick piers built to the corners and a slate or tiled roof. Internally it would be plastered out and provide a practical and appealing extension.

Conservatories

Conservatories

Whilst we've been manufacturing conservatories for 35 years, for the past 17 years we haven't repeated any design. We are truly a "bespoke" manufacturer. The vast array of photographs set out below gives a small indication of possible configurations - many of which are distinctly different and why not?

Sun Rooms

Sun Rooms

Sun rooms can be described as the forerunner of the more intricate buildings seen nowadays. Normally fully glazed lean-to constructions but not necessarily simple or without style. Sun rooms effectively merge and overlap with both conservatories and garden rooms so we recommend viewing those sections also.

Windows and Doors

Windows and Doors

We manufacture and install all traditional and contemporary style of window. Since we mould and construct everything ourselves we are happy to build any type or size of window (subject only to logical constraints). Doors create a first impression on any visitor so why fit a "stock" design. We are happy to advise on a more dramatic and adventurous approach.

Porches and Greenhouses

Porches and Greenhouses

A porch should be so much more than a cover for the front door. We've all seen porches which perform the functional purpose but which are complete misfits. With a little more effort and at no more cost a porch becomes a design feature to be proud of. With the increase in popularity of gardening the demand for a greenhouse with a difference is growing. A greenhouse is similar in structure to a conservatory so why not build in both originality and style.
